Myriam Labiausse grew up in Italy in a multicultural family of artists with French, Polish and Russian roots. At just seventeen, she graduated with honours in violin from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples. A scholarship then took her to the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied with Isidora Schwarzberg.
In Vienna, she furthered her musical education by studying musicology at the University of Vienna and completing a Master of Arts Education at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. In 2024, she also completed her degree in instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the mdw.
Myriam regularly performs with orchestras and ensembles, including the Beethoven Philharmonie. Her career has also taken her to the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Oper Klosterneuburg and Seefestspiele Mörbisch, with concert tours to China, Japan, Turkey, Oman and Tunisia.
Alongside performing, she is a dedicated teacher of violin and ensemble playing at music schools in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.
Chamber music holds a special place in Myriam's musical life. For her, it is a living conversation in which individual ideas meet and develop together. What she values most about Trio Mosaïque is its openness, mutual trust and spirit of equality: the chance to make music together and share its emotional power with an audience.
